    Howdy, am trying to use USB Loader with Mario Kart - 2.35GB and takes over 2 hours... what am I doing wrong?

    Have a USB stick plugged into the bottom slot, and have the most up to date version of the loader.

    Please advise!

    Thansk.

    Are you ripping the disc using USB Loader GX? If so the disc could be scratched, this has a big impact on times as the software will retry sectors over and over.
    Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

    Do you have the latest cIOS installed, I remember when the first usb loader was released I had the same problem, then installed a newer cIOS solved the problem. I use the same USB stick sometimes and get better times than that.

    I only hit 2.0MB for any game I try to transfer to my hdd. I have already updated to the newest cIOS. I used to get 6.0MB.

    With cios229 rev17 I got the following rip result:
    0.6MB to a Kingston 8GB Data Traveler;
    1MB to a 400G FAT partition on a WD 500G passport;
    5MB to a 100G WBFS partition on a WD 500G passport;
