    USBLoaderCFG Forwarder (By Narolez)

    I am using USB Loader_CFG, and I want to load USBLoaderCFG_Forwarder onto the Wii, to save opening the homebrew channel as I continually get a Homebrew update nag screen, which I am worried the kids might one day load by accident,
    But I just want to check something first...
    The Instructions that come with the Forwarder read as follows:
    "Copy the WAD to your SD or USB storage and install the channel with Wad-Manager".

    My Question : Is that all I have to do, is the forwarder already configured to the path of the USB loader_CFG as it should be on the SD Card:
    ie sd:/apps/usbloader etc.
    Or am I missing something...

    all i did was install the wad for the loader, worked fine! maybe its magic? or maybe it just assumes that usb loader is always installed to the same place.

    yes and you will have to keep the SD card inside, but read the documentation for it it should com with one, then just install it.
    You could also search for a full cahnnel, which does not need a card plugged in, it is stored in wii

    I guess It must be because its the forwarder for that particular loader,
    and the loader has to be in the apps folder on the sd card, so I guess there is not much else it needs to know.
    When you use the forwarder channel does it just act as a short-cut to the loader? or are there any settings built into the forwarder?

    what ive done is formatted a part of my USB HDD to fat32, put the loader there, then installed the forwarder, so it runs CFG loader from USB, so there is no SD card lying around for the kids to eat and the cat to lose (or should that be the other way around? )

    Strangely I never found the channel version of the loader but I will have another look around. is it on here anywhere? I got The SD version from: gwht.wikidot.com (GAF's Site)

    Have to say things are working that well I don't really want to keep messing around installing stuff in case I upset the apple cart, But The channel version would be a good move.

    By The Way
    I am thinking about getting new music games like RB Beatles, GH5 etc. and am thinking about the dreaded instrument hook up's, ... If I got the original retail disk would I still have a problem with the instruments, & microphone hook up etc?

    i don't know for sure... you may have to do some more modding, even with the originals...

    Any links for this USB loader cfg? Been searching on here but cant find it anywhere, Just wondering if it will solve some of the issues with games I have been experiencing

    Here is a link to USB Loader CFG, LOOK HERE.

    I use the forwarder channel to load CFG from SD card, because you can do updates right from the loader, which will update the app on your SD card. Internet connection is required.
