Can I still do this with the usb loader gx installed as a channel with a .wad ?

and I'm a noob, I still struggle to understand how to do this (go back to the loader after exiting a game)

No it has to be a forwarder, the.dol goes in the root of the SD card so priiloader can execute it.

    This is off topic but,

Priiloader loads before the system menu. This enables you set features such as, skip system updates, region free.
Its really useful at preventing bricks.

That is unlikely, so long as the .dol is a working one, it will boot to that.
Make sure your priiiloader works, and you can change autoboot and return.

sometimes mine will boot into priiloader menu instead of usb loader gx, happens maybe 1 in 10 times, possibly a bit more.
    no pattern to it really.
also had a couple of times where the wiimote wont turn on, the leds flash a few times but it wont register. this has only happened a couple of times.

in both cases an off/on is enough to sort it out.

not major problems but any ideas why it might happen?

    cheers
