    Usb loader not showing games

This is driving me mad, I've been searching for hours and can't find an answer
I've tried using usb loader 1.5 and usb loader gx which both detect my usb hard drive but say there are no games!?!?

I'm using cIOS38r14 and firmware 4.1, and I used WBFS 3.0 to load the games to the drive. Any ideas please??

Does the USB Loader ask you to format the drive? Or is it just showing as empty each time?

I suspect either a user, or a cIOS issue or perhaps even a USB device compatilibity issue

No it's not asking for a format, just showing the drive as having no games

What type of drive is it?

When you plug it in to your PC and load WBFS manager do the games appear on the left side of the application?

Yeah that could be the problem, it's an old drive by 'PikaOne' 320gb lol.
Only external drive I had spare.

But yeah the games appear down the left hand side.

Try cIOS 38 rev 13a, maybe 12 and 10 too. Maybe it'll work on one of them.

btw Just install on top, it'll overwrite even if it's an older version.

There was a discussion about everyone posting their drives here somewhere..

    http://www.wiihacks.com/software-bac...you-using.html

I use the WD My Passport Essential 320GB in Black because it was the cheapest and most compatible I could find at the time. There used to be a list on Gbatemp's Wikitemp but they changed the link. Ah found it http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/index.p...atibility_List

Ordered a new drive, but after reformatting the drive a few more times I noticed my noob mistake. Well the formatting program I was using's mistake
When I was formatting it to FAT32 it was making it a logical drive, changed it to a primary and it picked up the games straight away!!
One to look out for if anyone else is having the problem I guess!

Cheers for all the help, and guess my Wii gets a nice new shiny drive out of it lol

Wouldn't have thought it'd have worked at all without it being a primary partition. As it worked to some degree, albeit not showing games then perhaps wrongly assumed you'd done that. Still..you can never have too many external drives.
