First a BIG thank you to sociallyantisocial for all the great info in this thread and the channels. I started looking into it and turns out it's super easy to make these forwarder channels so long as you have either a working image (.iso), the banner file from the .iso, or an image file already on a WBFS formatted HD.
I'm using
[Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register] since it's the latest final release, and so far it's working flawlessly.
Here are my settings typed up as they are in the program (I load from .iso's):
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Loader - Usb Loader 1.6 by WiiCrazy
Type - USB Loader
Under the "Fixes" category I check "Newstyle 002".
"Wad Naming" defaults to the third option: {GameName} - {DiscId} - {TitleId}.wad
--> Create Channel (This will create your brand new .wad file

in the "Wad" folder)
Then I use the Test / Install button to confirm that the new .wad file works via HBC. So far it's been 100% success and a really quick process.

Here are a few of the channel forwarders I've made so far (all NTSC-U) -

These are all fully functional and installed on my 4.2U softmodded Wii, also bypassing an already installed USB Loader GX. I'd take a picture and upload it, but the SD card for my camera is sitting in my Wii right now..

I'll probably make a few more soon.
I don't know if the OP is still checking this thread, but in case you are feel free to add these links to your original post, to keep them all in one spot.
