You could try using a different cIOS is you are softmodded but if you are using a modchip, what kind are you using?

I've heard it may because wiikeys usually need to be updated to fix this error.

    Take a look at this:

I'm only running on a softmodded wii.

I guess I'll try and try out some different cIOS's.

I started burning at this moment using Nero Burning Rom 7 at 4x speed because 2x wasn't available with either my drive with DLs or my media. This is my third last DL and I'm not buying more for a while. So wish me luck.

EDIT: Finished burning going to try it out

To those who haven't noticed, NeoGamma R7 doesn't include the anti 002 fix. Use NeoGamma R6 instead.

I burned a Verbatim DVD+R DL with no luck.

Nevertheless, I used that DVD for the dol files. I loaded the ISO to an external hard drive using WBFS Manager 3.0.1. Then used NeoGamma R6. First creating the save file without the alt .dol setting, then activating the .dol settings to select which MP to play, reading the dols from the DVD.

With this method (DVD + External Hard Drive) you don't need to rename anything, or extract anything with the WiiScrubber, and it works (you still need a cIOS for NeoGamma to work obviously).

Finally it boots, but it comes to a system update. The problem was the auto brickblocker set by Wasabi 1.4 which was negating the DVD from being read but now it reads fine.

I used Gecko OS 1.9.1 to launch the game it boots and everything but all three games have an error stating "disc error" or something of the sort with a black screen. Would this require me to update or use the .dol technique?

I got it to burn using Nero Burning Rom 7 at x4 speed with Memorex DVD+R DL and I set no layerbreak.

The .dol method does the same using NeoGamma r7 but it recommends cIOS rev14 but I'm rev13, do i have to upgrade?

I recommend rev13 since rev14 breaks Dual Layer Support, also try giving NeoGamma a try with the alternate .dol methods and you might need R6 if you don't have IOS38, 53 and 55 on your wii.

Download the files from the first post if you dont have them yet like NeoGamma R6 then:

    1) Insert the Disc and launch NeoGamma R6/USB Loader and launch game without alt. dol and create a save file

    2) Turn the 002 Fix and alt. dol on and select the .dol from discs, if you want to play a game, you select its .dol so:
    a) rs5mp1_p.dol = Metroid Prime 1
    b) rs5mp2_p.dol = Metroid Prime 2
    c) rs5mp3_p.dol = Metroid Prime 3

    3) Select the .dol for the game you want to play, the game will launch directly and will not load the trilogy menu

Actually R7 does have 002 support, its just that its automatically enabled for all games because it doesn't affect games that don't require it, so it may as well be on all the time.
