    Asking for a System Update

I've burned the game onto a DL disc , put it in but the Disc Channel only shows, SYSTEM UPDATE, is there any way to removed that from the ISO ??

If you have Preloader installed, go into system hacks and activate:
    skip disc update checks

If you don't have Preloader, download it from my signature, unzip and put the preloader folder into the apps folder on the root of your sd card. Run it and install. Preloader only works on 3.2, 4.0 and 4.1 USA and PAL.

If you get the 002 Error install IOS38, IOS53 and IOS55.

    Cool

Thank for the help in this thread. Thanks to it I have been able to get Metroid Prime 1 & 2 working however launching MP3 gives "An error has occurred. Please eject the disk..."

Like I said choosing either MP1 or MP2 or the Trilogy menu all work. Anyone else having problems with MP3? What should I try?

    Thanks

and returned me to system menu.
i tried the alternate dol method,
but after choosing dol from disc
and clicking on dol from disc,
my wii freez and give me a black screen whit alot of code error

    same as you now.
    i extracted rs5mp1_p.dol, rs5mp2_p.dol and rs5mp3_p.dol whit wiiscrubber 1.4.
i placed rs5mp1_p.dol in my memory card root and renamed as R3ME01.dol.
mpt1 is working no problem, same for mpt2!
but i can't play mpt3 "An error has occurred. Please eject the disk..."

Just a regular lurker, made an account to post some observations.

Im getting the "Eject disc, reset Wii, refer to manual" error with cIOScorp 3.2 and 3.3 from disc channel, bcl gamma, and neogamma, as well as with an original copy of the game when I try to load MP3, every other game loads properly.

Downgraded all IOS's to original states and installed the regular set of cIOS's tried with gamma and neogamma and I get the artifacty green color screen when trying to launch any game on the backup, but the original retail copy works perfectly.

Just wanted to let everyone know a couple of things I've found.

If you use a scrubbed back up of the game, MP3 will not work.

Also, rev 14 can cause MP3 to not work on some consoles. Not sure what the pattern is on it, but a few people who are not using a scrubbed version can't get it to load.

I'm not sure about NeoGamma R7 and rev 14, but I know that if you use NeroGamma R6 and rev 13a, you do not need to copy the dol files off the disc, you can simply load each one directly off the disc. If you aren't using a scrubbed back up, MP3 will load and work.

    *Note*
This isn't from personal expierence with MPT, as I ran out of blank dvd9s. This is just information I've found on a couple of sites and my expierience with loading alt dols from discs with NeoGamma R6 and rev 13a.

I've also noticed that almost all problems related to MP3 not working are either related to scrubbed copies, or using rev 14....with the exception of a few people using unscrubbed verions.

Hope this helps a few people having troubles with the alt dols.
