    Oh and by the way, when you have changed the options for the game in the loader, Press 2 to save those changes or you will have to do this every time you play MPT. Press back on thw wiimote then press A to play.

    i have managed to make the game work through disc channel. without alt.dol method. just with neogamma. cioscorp also needed. without cioscorp the game reboots, but when i installed it, the game boots and works perfectly (metroid 1&2 are working i did not try mp3 yet) with neogamma. my systemmenu is 4.2E.

    Go in to your game load settings before you boot the game.

    Select Use Alt DOL from disc

    A screen should pop up and ask you what MP you want to run.

    The reason of this is because the MPT has 4 dol's.

    When you run the main dol the game reloads the IOS when it does this it turns off your usb ports, which makes your wii think you took the disc out of the slot.
    is there any way around this? I know of the alt. dol method and have used it, but it's an inconvenience and i'm the kind of person who likes to have everything work smoothly. I would really like to run all three games from the game menu. BTW i use uloader.

Once you have Configurable Usb Loader (I have version 49 and havent had the urge to update at all) use wbfs manager to get the MPT ISO onto the external HDD (I don't bother with discs). hook up the HDD to the wii and you can access the loader from Homebrew or make a channel for later. Once in the Config usb loader screen, select MPT and then 1 on the wiimote for options. don't change anything except what I said above. You can change this by finding IOS: and press left or right on the D-pad of the wiimote. there will be several options to choose from but 222 mload works for me. Also change the alt dol as above too, depending on witch game out of the trilogy you want to play ( rssmp1_p.dol is metroid prime 1 for example). I can't get it to work with neogamma either but this has been flawless for me. No green screens or reboots or glitches.
    I do have my wii updated to 4.2u and I'm not sure if that makes any differance (I don't know why it would) If someone else has that answer then shout it out.
    I hope this works for you. Please tell us if it works for you!

    My Wii is 4.1 ntsc-u , soft mod, using usb Loader Gx.....

    used Hermes' uLoader installer v4. to Install Hermes' IOS 222/223 for use with USB Loader.....link GAF's Wii Homebrew Tutorial: Hermes' Ios222/223

    in usb loader settings i use ios 222, error 002 fix and alternate dol depending on the metroid prime trilogy you want to play

    thanks a lot... probably other usb loader would also work as long as you choose the ios 222 in settings after installing hermes ios 222/223

    I got this thing to work with CFG USB Loader. I'm using Hermes IOS 222 and the alt dols. So far I just tried playing the 1st game so I don't know about the other two yet.

    What I was wondering about, is there still no way of switching between different player profiles? (I'm not the only person playing the Wii)

    It's sad there's no way of using the normal menu yet...

    Wii, v4.2e (Europe - PAL), IOS249v14, using USB loaders. Torrent ISO: "Metroid Prime Trilogy [PAL] [WiiTorrentz]"

    I ve been reading this thread over and over again, but had no luck in running MP3 (MP1&2 was ok since the beginning). I thought I had a bad ISO and since I had Corruption as a standalone,, didn't mind a lot. But after looking around some more, I finally did it.

    The problem with me was that although I had Hermes CIOS 202/222/3/4 installed, they were v3 ones. I installed v5 from this guide:
    http://www.wiihacks.com/other-faq-gu...222-223-a.html
    (be careful with v5 install cause not all loaders work afterwards)

    and used the latest Configurable USB Loader from here:
    Configurable USB Loader - GBAtemp.net

    USB Loader-GX (latest version 927 from here Downloads - usbloader-gui - Project Hosting on Google Code) gives me some Video problems while playing (I forced PAL50 to the settings but the problem persists).

    After that MP3 works just fine, by selecting:
    - Video: Force PAL50
    - Anti 002 Fix: YES
    - IOS: 222-mload
    - Block IOS Reload: YES
    - Alt DOL:
    * rs5mp1_p.dol --> ΜP1
    * rs5mp2_p.dol --> ΜP2
    * rs5mp3_p.dol --> ΜP3
    from the option menu.

    Hope that helps.

    Thumbs up

    Hey All,

    I have the Metroid Prime Trilogy 1&2 iso (not including 3). I am running it right from the disc channel. I installed cIOSCORP through the homebrew channel. Just installed it to the root of my sd card. Now it works fine. Just thought Id share that. And yes, I too fought with it over and over again until I really searched around on google and found something about it. Not sure if it will work for you but I have it working. Wii version 4.0U as well. That program installs a bunch of update ios's from what I know. If it does work, ENJOY!

    Is there any chance that someone out there will be able to get MPT to run off the original menu eventually? It would be great if you could change the difficulty settings, profiles etc...
