    Metroid Prime 2 Problem

Well Hello everyone im new here but i ve been rediang lately about softmod and i have a problem with metroid prime trilogy:

So the stroy goes like this:
I found a torrent with metriod prime 1 and 2 but no 3 i downloaded it and had the usual problems (green screen and reboot) then i downloaded the latest version of USB LAoder gx wich let me choose the dol and stuff...

I was able to play metroid prime 1 and & downloaded metroid prime 3 separately and these 2 metroids work perfectly

    The problem is echoes:
I choose the corresponding dol in usb loader gx and then i boot metroid 2 , the problem comes when after a few seconds it freezes, its weird because the beginning are letters from the opening but when i actually im about to see something, it freezes. Also im able to boot metroid prime1 using the above method with no problems.

i have rev 863 from usb loader gx and cios38 rev14 (i think) or it could be 249 or something like that.

    Thank you for your answers

PLEASE HELP. I tried backing up Metroid Prime Trilogy to my external HD. It have a message"You are using CIOS 249 rev 14: It has known problems with dual layer games. It is highly recommended that you use a different IOS or revision for installation/playback of this game" Well through USB Loader, I still tried backing up and gave error during 50% of trying to back up. Now half my games are missing on my External Hard drive. Am I screwed or is there something I can do to get those games showing up again? PLEASE HELP . Thank you.

Hi, if I have the original Metroid Prime Trilogy disc game, how do I Install the .iso of the game using WBFS Manager? Do I put the disc game into my PC and then it will read the ISO and move to USB hard drive? An that is it? No changes to these .dol settings?

mmm i dont think thats the way, because i believe pc doesnt read wii games.

Also which usb laoder you are using?

I recommend usb loader gx, i think theres an instal game from a disc feature... but i dont really know wich one you use but anyway lets wait for somebody else who enlightens us about this metroid prime trilogy quest...

I also am having the same problem as andy. I like my set up and everything works 100% except MPT. I am using the Config Usb Loader, Neogamma R7, have 249 rev14. tried 002 fix and 222. Loading iso from hdd and i get the same message as andy. game works all the way up until MP1,2,and 3 loads. Results are a green screen and a reboot back to the wii menu.
I am new at this and I have never had a problem with anything but this. Looking for some friendly help. Thanks in advance.

Ok cow i think i can help you because i had that same problem and i think the solution is here somewhere on tis thread but anyway:

What i did is booting metroid prime using te ALT DOL method, but i was using usb loader gx wich lets you use this but i think that if you dont have this usbloader you will need to rename your dols respectively i dont really know to well the procedure but your problem is common so i think you should look back in this thread or google "metroid prime trilogy ALT DOL" or something like that

    hope that helps
    bye

where can i just find the .dol file so i dont have to scrub it my self,

Never mind, I think I found the easiest solution on this thread, I load my backups with coverfloader, it has the option to use an alternate .dol and you specify if from sd or flash drive or image, I put image and loaded it, a pop up screen came up and asked me which episode i would like to play, Episode: (-+) Metroid Prime, so it works. I'm using the newest coverfloader. http://code.google.com/p/wiicoverflow/downloads/list straight from Google. ME SO HAPPY

I got MPT working using USB Loader GX and I can load each game from the first window when I click on the game using USB Loader GX. Here's how:

    1. GH/The Beatles Rock band must fully detect all instruments when loading from HDD. If you don't have GH/TBRB, load the cIOS by following the thread in the Tutorials section. I'm too lazy to link it
    2. GH/TBRB loads for me using IOS223 and I found CYB3RFR34K's post which stated he got MPT working using IOS223 so I decided to give it a try
    3. Load the ISO to the HDD as normal with whatever tool you use, I prefer WBFS file manager
    4. Download the cover and disc image
    5. Load MPT the first time and when you get the window asking you which title you would like to load, choose default
    6. Create a game save and go back to the Wii home screen
    7. Fire up USB Loader GX again, change the game load settings for MPT and change the IOS to IOS223 - ***DO NOT CHOOSE TO LOAD AN ALT DOL***
    8. From now on when you load MPT, you can choose either MP1, MP2 or MP3 directly from the first window after you click the MPT cover

    Preexisting setup:
    4.1u
USB Loader GX as a .WAD. Have not tested loading from SD as I keep USB Loader GX as a channel
GH5/TBRB instruments must all be detected and working by having the correct cIOS and boot options set in USB Loader GX
Set the title to load using IOS223

Only thing I don't like about IOS223, it hangs my Wii when I click home and choose Wii Home Screen. Oh well, no biggie turning the power off and on.
