Arrow Error RET-2011.. Need to Load USB Backuploader GX forwarder

Greets Dudes & Dudettes.... A friend of mine brought his Wii over and asked my help in updating it to allow him to use the USB backuploader gx.... (I use that loader on my Wii and it is great!!! Props to the programmers!!) The problem is that I do not know what he has installed on this Wii except he has BootMii, HBC and is at firmware 4.1U He said he used Wanikoko upgrader to get there... He did not know what IOS's had been installed or anything. I have been trying the USB forwarder wad to load and install but I keep getting the ret-2011 error. I tried to install cIOS38 rev14 but it gave me ret -1 errors... (network install) I'm really at a point wondering what to do next??? Should I downgrade him and start over not knowing what has been installed IOS wise? I hate to brick him in the attempt... Ideas? Thoughts? Whats the best method?... Since he is already at 4.1 w HBC and bootmii.

Most of these should be able to be solved by downgrading to lower system menu such as 3.2u, to downgrade you would need to use cIOS Downgrader which needs a cIOS. As for the -1 error, it could be because your wii has no vulnerable IOS, try using this guide if it works dont bother downgrading unless you want to.

As for the -2011 error you are getting try using wad manager 1.4 after you get a cIOS then when it asks you to choose an IOS select 249, that error is probably occuring because your using an IOS that doesnt have the trucha bug so there shouldn't any reason to downgrade unless you need to.

You need to find the wads for those channels and put them in your wad folder on the root of your sd card and use wad manager to install.
    http://www.wiihacks.com/software-bac...r-channel.html
That links installs a neogamma fowarder as a channel just put your sd card in and it will foward it to your sd card so it takes less space.

As for USB Loader GX, i cant find one sorry.

Thanks Dudes for all the help.... Only problem I see now is that the preloader is not working correctly... I have the options set to bypass health warning and boot to the System menu in settings, they are saved but it always boots to the preloader menu regardless.. Ideas?? I would like to boot straight into the system menu or use power on and reset to get to the preloader menu.... as brick protection

    USB without downgrading

I've got 4.2U with the update because of the Netflix CD. I do not want to downgrade because Netflix wont work. I get ret -2011 with the USB and Backup loaders with wad manager 1.4 and 1.5. I get ret -1017 with any cIOS upgrader or downgrader. What do these errors mean?
