Angry wbfs will not load the any drive

ok so im tring to get my wd 1 tb drive formated to wbfs.... I have read throught every thread and have tried everything i could find

i tried formating from every format fat fat32 ntfs both logical and primary
i have tried to format it on the wii first but it still comes up with error loading drive

I have tried it with other drive and all the same

i have tried other wbfs managers and seems to be the same error loading drive

it might be formating it it just wont load it

using eaues partitioning master 4.0 to fix and retry

i have checked to make sure the drive is not being used as far as i can tell nothing is

    im using windows xp sp3

Might be that the drive isnh't compatible. Check for more info at USB Devices Compatibility List - WikiTemp
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

Try WBFS manager 2.5 also if i remember correctly the drive has to be in FAT32 first to format to WBFS

Just an idea but have you tried just deleting the partition and keeping the drive as RAW and formating through WBFS?

That is what i ment. And just checking is this partition the primary partion on the drive. Because in order for WBFS to format it it has to be the primary partition.
