Wow, that's not comforting since I followed your guide for soft modding my Wii. I hope it's not a sign of things to come for me. Anything I should watch out for? Everything is working great right now.

I'm trying to get Triiforce mrc v9 (or older versions) to work, but I never came further than the "Can't read Title blah".
I did this on two softmodded Wii's (old white and new black one, both 4.2) with different harddisks, SD and SDHC cards.... whatever I do, it won't read the Title dir.

The only way to see what I am missing is to use the real nand at the selection: then I get the Triiforce windows on my screen with my "genuine" WiiWare on it, but that's not the purpose of this app.

I did use Bootmii (v0.6) backup several times on the two systems, tried Simple FS Dumper 0.42, used the Bit2Raw & zestig method (seems to work) and then filled the nand with ShowMiiWads 1.4 or Wad2Nand.

No matter what I do, I always get the ""Can't read Title something" on my screen.

The two Wii's seems to work perfectly with the current Samsung Story 1.5TB harddisks (First partition = 32GB FAT32 Active, second 999GB WBFS and the rest is a NTFS 389GB backup partition)

But as mentioned before, even a 2GB SD card (non HC) doesn't work.

The structure is ok: contents of the nand dir is copied into the root (yeah without the dir "nand", I know).

I lost approx 20 hours already with this crap, and I'm clueless right now.

The two Wii's are running on cIOSX rev19.

I wonder if some options in Priiloader could prevent the Triiforce program to work normally.

    Anyway: HELP

Ps: I'm working with Windows 7 64x, I hope that won't be an issue....

Ah, it seems that Triiforce doesn't support 1.5 or 2TB HD's (yet)?
That sucks, but doesn't explain why a simple FAT formatted SD card doesn't work either.

If someone does have a clue, please shoot, because I don't know anymore how to fix this.
Btw: I was able to make a NAND dump with ShowMiiWads 1.4: it has the same structure as the other NAND dumps, but I don't know if the right key settings are added or not. Anyway, it didn't work, just like all the other dumps.

Ok, here I am again with my monologue

I did a dump with Simple FS Dumper 0.42 Fix2 on a SD card (non HC 2GB, FAT32) and finally, Triiforce worked from there.
So: after many hours of puzzeling (say days), the result: no HD >1TB support, bad SD-HC support.

It has potential, but there's really need for some updates. I should wait till then.

maybe they tried additional moddifications since that guide.

    -Wii Menu 4.2U / DARKCORP v1.1 / BootMii as boot2 / Preloader v0.30-
    -USB HDD / Wiiflow 2.0 / Triiforce / VC Image-Pack / cIOS Wads-
    Support WiiHacks

First off I would like to say I'm sorry for posting on a old topic but I do have one small question. I have read all of the Triiforce install instructions & understand what needs to be down to install. The only thing I am not exactly sure about is the NAND's, I have made a backup of my NAND's when I softmodded my virgin 4.2u Wii. So I guess my question would be, can I use this NAND backup or should I create a new one. Thanks in advance, peace!
    Console:
    Virgin 4.2u SoftMod // Serial: LU30
    NeoGamma R8 7b // HBC 1.0.6
    cIOS38 Rev17 // BootMii@Boot2

I just read the thread, and you must make a separate backup using the app linked in the first post, or by downloading the nand dump in the first post.

    Now my questions/comments:

I am trying to run DKC, Super Mario RPG, and ZAMN (only interested in backing up the ones I have downloaded). I can run ZAMN perfectly, it is a NTSC file I found online.

DKC, when I run this one, the screen constantly scrolls like a bad coax connection from the old days on the actual SNES. I have tried the different video settings but can not find one that works. This is a PAL file.

Super Mario RPG is also a PAL file. This one will run, but under every setting that it does, it is in black and white. I did check the link to the supported games posted earlier but did not get taken to the page (page not found message on that site)

Another probably more important for me question: Is it possible to backup the WAD files of the VC games I have downloaded so that I know I have reliable files? If I missed it somewhere, I do apologize. If I have to back it up with any utilities (WadManger, DOP-Mii, etc), could someone point me in the direction of instructions on doing so please?

    I greatly appreciate the help.

Edit: I just want to make sure I am doing this correctly also: when I run WAD Manager, NAND emulator device should be "SD/SDHC Card" (The NAND copy I dl'd from first post is there in the root) and source is "Wii SD Slot"? When I do so with that configuration I get the following:

Mounting device, please awit... ERROR! (ret = -1). If anyone can help clarify I would be greatful.

i followed the guide and after opening triiforce i get "triiforce exception occured"

is it because i have a 1tb drive? i have a 16gb fat partition just for triiforce stuff...

if it is so, you could mention it in the guide, because i spent a few hours in vain

    thanks
