what is the best setup for neogamma???

hi after recently installing neogamma with cIOS rev 14 i read on another post that rev 14 was mostly angled towards HDD users runnin isos from externals and that rev 13 was better suited to play new games (ie wii sports resort etc) is this true,at present im havin trouble loading a backup game via neogamma,it reads the game id but returns the error "DISC READ ERROR (1269)" i cant find anything online about this error wonder if any of you guys have encountered a similar error, maybe its the media im using, phillips DVD-R not the best i imagine,i am burning at the lowest speed capable though (4X) and using imgburn as many have suggested,anyways...would it be beneficial for me to revert back to rev 13 on neogamma R6 or keep it at rev 14 neogamma 7??? i prefer to use back up discs as at present i have no external harddrive..also i have starfall as a channel but not used it yet, does it have any other benefits other than changing region etc which im sure im able to do on an app i have on hombrew channel,is it like a fail safe incase of bricking?? or is that not an issue with the release of neogamma?? i know its a long post but hey i reply would be enough to help me get started..thanks in advance.

Neogamma is geared more towards people loading ISO's from external HDD. The rev 14 is used to play more games successfully with less chance of bricking.

I don't know what program you should use if you are playing disc backups. I would say, think about using an external HDD, just for ease.

im goin to try the usb method, ive been told that games ripped using usb loader are sometimes under 1 gig so my 2gig usb should be fine, hopefully that will work..and ive come to understand that NG R6 and cIOS 10 are a good bet for disc backup.

I am using N-gamma R6 with Rev 13A, not having a great deal of joy with newer game back-up titles apart from Wii Sports Resort which works ok, But None of the newer game back-ups like G-Slam Tennis, Ashes Cricket etc.are eager to work, seems not many are using disk loaders at this time, which is a shame because I feel the USB Loaders will be the first target to eliminate for Nintendo.
I only installed N-Gamma R6 last week, so I am like yourself a bit new to this loader, but it was recommended to me by one of the guys on the forum, who steered me away from N-Gamma R7 and Cios 38 Rev14.
Hope Somebody can offer the latest findings On this loader with regard to playing from disks, would be good to know which is the best way forward from here.
