Arrow Which external USB disk are you using?

    Hi,

I am planning on buying an external USB disk to store my backed up games on.

*Which USB disk are other members using without any issues?

*Is there a recommended external USB disk that works well with USB Loader?

*Also, which is the preferred loader that most people use?

    Thanks.

I am using the WD 1TB My Book external drive and have not had any problems at all. Would definitely recommend the my Book unless you are looking for something smaller, then try the WD passports.

For the USB loader, I am using USB Loader GX which as built in 002 fix, alt dol booting etc and I have never had any problems with this particular loader either, so I would definitely recommend this loader.

I'm using a 160gb Hitachi External USB2 2.5 Pocket Size Hard Drive. Nice and compact sits neatly behind my wii.

I'm using 320GB Hitachi 2.5" SATA with Hitachi USB Case. I place my Wii horizontally, and use USB Adapter to connect HDD to Wii. Look very neat as there is less cable clutter...

You need to stick 4 rubber feet though, to even out the level between the connector and the Wii.

I would recommend you do not get a Seagate FreeAgent Desk HDD, too many issues.
