My NAND backup was 540mb - I think the card needs to be at least 1GB

512mb card isn't big enough to do the backup

No but the backup should create a file called nand.bin in root of the SD.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

How big of a card do you need - I saw somewhere it said you needed at least 530mb free space with led me to believe you needed at least 1Gb

The card I am using is a 2GB card showing 500MB full. Yet no nand.bin file to be found.

    Strange?

Have you tried formatting the card and retrying?

    That's my only thought sorry

You said you checked your folder options - do you have Show hidden files and folders selected under folder options?

I just switched in on my system and it still shows so that wont be it -

    Cheers,

I am about to reformat the card and try again. I will post my results when it is done.

    I found this :

No nand.bin file on SD Card.

It was his card - tried a new one and it worked

Same problem with data being used on card but no file.

    Cheers,

    Scotty Mac
