No that isn't right, bootmii is very picky with SD cards. I would advise a sandisk or you could try to formatting it to FAT and seeing what happens but if that doesn't work go get a sandsik SD card. besta luck to ya post back if anything else is wrong

i reccomend bootmii INSTEAD of preloader although they work fine together bootmii does the same as preloader without keepig the disc spinning forever on and on and on...

unless booting diretly to the wii menu is huge for you i reccomend getting rid of preloader with any region changer , but its ur decision

I want install bootmii too. I can only install it as IOS. I heard that I need Game Cube Controller to backup Nand using bootmii as IOS. Is it right? I don't have one, so how could I backup Nand?

It is a sandisk DS 2 gig card . I had a 512mb card so I copied everything over . Then installed Bootmii . Its def FAT format I have used 583mb of memory with just the usual apps etc .
    ANy Ideas ?

Update : I backed up NAND again and this time I let it verify and all good 528mb now . Thanks for all your help .

I am reading a tut. on how to play backups and in the guide they tell you to use preloader to use the systems menu hacks. I already have hb and bootmii, can I just use bootmii instead? What happens if you have bootmii and preloader when you start your wii, do they both just load before the health and safety screen?
