    Problems with BackupLoader Gamma 0.3

    Hello ive kind of loooked for a similer situation as mine but couldnt find one, so ill just make my own thread.

    I have 3.3U firmware.


    Im just installed homebrew channel yesturday and all that schnaz, i installed cIOS Installer v7 by wiiGator. No Errors or anything. Then i loaded up backup launcher 0.3 gamma IOS36 and launched the game, i hear the wii make a click, then it says DVD read err 324 no CIOS.

    Im using TDK DVD-R Discs, I have burnt at 1x,2x and 4x all dont work. what the hell am i doing wrong?

    What other cIOS/IOS have you installed.

    i havent installed anything else besides the one i told you or just replied above. im real new at all this, i dont know what IOS or CIOS is, alls i know is i downloaded backup launcher gamma, and it came with the cios insaller and said to install it before i run the backup launcher.

    When he means what other cIOS, you installed he means what number, for example what you installed was probably cIOS36, you can always try cIOS38-rev14, it is the latest one.

    Recommend this in order:

    And follow that up with Preloader 0.29 and Bootmii to stop/recover bricking and other nice things you can read about.

    well i ran cIOS38-rev14 and still no dice, same error, is it the backup launcher im using is that old or something?

    any ideas? im so confused, i still read all of those tutorials posted. i installed the newest CIOS, im still getting same error.

    does it matter what IOS i install when it lets me pick which number? ie iso51, ios50..

    it just gave me an error "install error! (ret = -2011)

    then "finsihing installation please wait ok!"

    sigh.

    YES! If you keep doing that you are on your way to bricking your Wii;
    I suggest you study them closer, and don't do anything until you understand them.
