This is getting out of control...

... I am thinking about killing myself right now.

I've been going through forums and asking questions for at least 3 days, without finding answers to my concerns.

I am really hoping I can get help here, it's my last resort.

Keep in mind that I am a huge noob about this whole subject, so you'll have to be a little patient

God bless the person that helps me!

I downloaded a PAL version of wii Sports Resort.

I live in Canada and therefore have an NTSC Wii/old TV.

    I tried following this guide:

"1. MAke a NeoGamma Folder in the root of SD card and put the RZTP.dol file inside it. Boot.dol needs to be there too
    2. Load Neogamma R6 via Homebrew Channel and have the settings like this:

    002 fix: ON
    Alternative dol: SD

    3. Then just launch the disc or USB. You'll see a stupid video with a bint with sexy hands for about 3 minutes. Video ends and then it restarts the Wii
    4. Restart Neogamma and change the settings so the it doesn't run the alternative dol."

And it seemed to work fine until I got to step 4. The screen is black and white, and it jumps up and down making it nearly impossible to see what's going on.

I'm pretty confident my mistake is in the settings of NeoGamma. I put the video forcing mode on "Wii" and it gave me a green screen. I put it on "NTSC500somethingi" and it gives me a black screen... The black and white screen appears on "Disk"

Can you please help me out and tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Another thing you could do is download the JAP version. Thats what I am using. Eventhough i dont understand a thing in JAP, I can easily navigate through the menues. If you know how the first wii sports is set up, youll know how to use this one as well. Very fun game. Just make sure you have the motion plus.

That can't be right, I've seen other people playing it even though they don't have a PAL TV.
There has to be a way.

Is this for all the pal games or just sports resort?

Because when downloading a game, they usually only have the PAL version on torrents... do you know where to get NTSC ISO's?

I have a PAL game that was doing the same thing. I boot it thru Neogamma R6, using WBFS USB drive, this is my settings:

    Region Options

    Boot Language: Console Default
    Force Video: Wii
    Patch Video: No
    VIDTV Patch: Yes
    Patch Country: Yes

that's it, no other changes in Neogamma. I am using cIOS36 rev10. This game is not the same game you are trying to boot, but it is a PAL game and I was getting the black and white flickering screen.

when you run Neogamma, at the bottom of the screen it will say what version of the cIOS you have installed, mine is 249 rev10. If you want to know about cIOS and IOS, click here.

Leave everything default and just change the settings for Video Force: NTSC (480i) Thats what I did for a PAL game that I regionfriid for the US region for it to show up in the Disc channel, but when I chose to use the BackupLoader instead it wanted to show up the opposite like I was in Europe trying to play a NTSC game and I had to use that setting.

I have not tried that game, but I use this method for same problem on a NTSC game I bought from Ebay.
I use GX Loader or GX Forwarder, I have the Video Mode on Automatic and 002 fix on. This works on NTSC running on Pal. The green screen stays on for a couple of seconds then game loads.

    Hope this helps.
