PAL Wii Sports Resort won't run

I've followed the various advice I've found on site, and now have my Wii running CIOS Rev 13 A, along with installing the IOS38-64-v3610.wad file. I've also gone back to Neogamma R4. I'm attempting to run the PAL version of Wii Sports Resort off a DVD, and according to the advice I've found, I should be able to under this configuration, but I get a message telling me unauthorized software is detected or something of that nature.

Before I made these changes, Ghostbusters wouldn't run either, but now that's working so I figure I must be on the right trail. Might there be some step I'm missing? My searches of the site haven't netted me anything, but it's a bit of a mess using the search function, keep getting Ghostbusters threads.

You need to do the exact same thing as you would do for the JAP version. Search on here for that version and read up on it. If you are trying to play the Pal version on a NTSC console, dont even bother unless your TV handles pal signals. I know for a fact that you can use the pal version and force ntsc.

It sure can man, it's your TV which determines whether or not you can play it.

The link works! I need to try whether cIOS 13a/b is required. need to uninstall that and revert to cIOS_rev10 which is more stable.
