    Share your knowledge! F'ing Mario...

Has anyone actually ever got Mario Galaxy working with just a softmod?

And if so....can you tell me the f*** how to do it ???

All the stuttering on the intro's and then it crashes, doing my head in.

Tried having a search on here but I dont have the patientce for it, stressing me right out.

    Any ideas?

I understand I can load it via USB with neoGammer... I have an 8gb memory stick will that do? Or does it have to be a USB drive? If so you may as well just go out and buy the game aintcha.

    Thumbs up

Unless it is a bad iso, there shouldn't be a problem with this game. I loaded it original with a disk but now all games via usb. No fixes or extra ios required. I dont have 38,53 or 55 installed and still run on rev9 without any issues.
    good luck

The stuttering is due to the read speed of burnt media. It's only reading at 3x but the opening movie sequence needs the data faster to make the movie fluid.

As for it crashing your Wii, never heard of that. But, ya, the only way you're going to "fix" that problem is by using retail or by using USB loading.

I had no problems what so ever running that game. I use Backup Launcher .3 gamma and rev 10 cios. At the time I ran Mario I had Rev 8. The first movie did stutter with music. Ihavent played it much, but it was fine.

This was the first game i ever backup up & it has always had the stutter in the opening movie. otherwise the gameplay has been awesome for my. Could your problem be cheap dvd media? verbatim dvd-r burned at 4x have always worked on my end.
