I'm starting to think it may have to do with my Mac somehow messing with the .iso files.

If there are any other Mac users out there getting .iso's to launch properly please let me know how you're burning them, as I have tried NUMEROUS methods and still get the DVD read error (972) every time.

Damn, I didn't realize there was a R6! R4 was pretty good it loaded what backup loader couldn't. I hope this proves useful!
