The link to download ULoader and Hermes 223 IOS Files from the first page is dead. Does anyone have another link where I can download the files?

    A few questions for you

First off, I am a total NOOB and trying to get this to work, so please bear with me!
I soft-modded my WII many moons ago. It is a 4.2U
I have a singing game that I'm trying to get the mic to work. I also have Rock Band which I haven't played in years.
So, I go into homebrew, and right away it asks if I want to update it? I am currently at version 1.0.6 and it's asking if I want to upgrade to 1.0.8, is this "safe" to do?
Then, I'm able to do what you suggest for the CIOS installer for 222 & 223, all seems well.
Then I go into the USB Loader GX and at first get a screen of not so good looking "colors", I get two of them, then it simply counts down "waiting for your slow USB Device, then I do get an error, but can't read it, it goes by too fast. The WII then reboots. I note you say to go to the setup menu first and tell it to read 222, I don't know where that setup menu would be, perhaps it's somewhere in the background when I'm getting my two screens of "colors".

Any help you could provide, I would be most grateful.

Thank you for all you do!

    Awaiting your response.

I'm assuming all of you following this already have homebrew if not find a tutorial to get homebrew installed.

    First acquire the files:
ULoader and Hermes 223 IOS Files

I prefer USB Loader GX or use the Hermes one packaged above.

Then Unzip the CIOSInstaller folder from Hermes to the apps folder of the Wii SD Card.

Select the cios installer from Homebrew channel and install 222 I selected ios 37 with ios 36

Rerun the install and install 223 here I also selected 37 with 36

(Im pretty sure when you do 223 you have to select 37 with 36 to get RB instruments not sure about the 222 install but, so far it seems to work)

And also install whichever USB loader you desire to use.

If you choose USB Loader GX you must tell it to use 222 in the set up menu.

Those are the only USB loaders at this time that support these CIOSes (I think).

Then it worked for me... If you have any questions, I will try to answer them.
