How easy is this to install? I would want to install it but I'm incredibly noob at this. I would really appreciate it if someone could make a quick tutorial. Thanks!

If I were to be using an external hard drive, how would I go about installing?

I stopped using the USB Loader GX channel and decided to try the regular app that is getting updated more frequently. I made sure I was at the latest revision (570) and I reinstalled cios version 13a just to test it out. I found that I had none of the problems that I had in the past. This version has no issues reading my hard drive and also does not seem to have the problems with the newest cios (13a not 13b). It loads games one right after the other without having to turn off the Wii including the latest games like Indiana Jones, Ghostbusters and the Conduit. I have since uninstalled the channel and installed the Forwarder instead.

I figured that I would share this information for anyone having similar problems.

BTW: 4.0U softmod, cios38rev13a, HBC 1.0.3, USB Loader GX r570
I can't get this usbloader gx to run properly. I tried running it from the HBC and it dumped on me and then I also tried installing the WAD which gave me a usbloader gx channel and the same thing happens there right after it does a format.

I have since taken the USB HDD back to the PC where it still sees the 2 partitions and all the games on the WBFS partition that I used WBFS manager on my desktop to put on the USB HDD.

I kinda got it workin. I copied waninkoko's usb 1.5 loader and ran that from HBC which mounts the USB Hard Drive and then I can go into the usbloader gx and run the games from there.

It would be nice if someone would be able to help me get this working the way it was intended to though.

It sounds like you might not have created all the partitions as primary. That can cause intermittent read errors on the loaders - or not being read at all.

Did you use windows to partition the drive?

I did, I used Acronis Disk Director. I think I have it working now and that the problem may ( I say may because I can't remember for sure if it wasn't first) have been caused by the fact that the WBFS partition was not the first partition on the drive.

Doesn't matter if the WBFS partition is first.

I am sorry if this has been addressed before, but I have searched for an answer for three days and have found no solution. I have been using USB Loader GX Rev. 516 for a couple of weeks with absolutely no problems until a few days ago. I was playing a game and then exited back out to the wii menu and loaded up USB Loader GX again, but none of my games showed up. It was reading the harddrive because it said 368.23gb free of 400gb. I saw on a forum that I might need to reformat my hdd so I did and then re-added my games to it. Still the same problem. I have since then updated my cIOS to rev.12 and installed USB Loader GX Rev. 581 which did not help. I went back to Rev. 516 thinking that might solve my problem, but it didn't. As i was typing this I thought to check and see if Waninkoko's USB loader v1.5 would work with my drive and it does. I would really appreciate any and all help/suggestions.

Boxarts/DVD covers:

* NEW boxart/dvdcover thread HERE.
* The instructions manual for the covers can be found HERE.
* An official "All in 1" coverart pack by NeoRame can be found here: 3D Cover Last Update 28 May 2009
* Original Discart Pack (the originals from DjTaz´ Wii Boxart site): Original Discarts Last Update 30 May 2009 old Pack had a wrong disk size!

I just downloaded the coverart pack and put it on my Hdd (or your SD) and now I dont have to DL them at all plus they are all there except for a few of the newer games.
