    Mortal Kombat USB Fix

I ran across this fix for Mortal Kombat to make it load from a USB Loader. I tested it and it works great!

    1. Open a backup copy of your Mortal Kombat ISO in WII Scrubber (I used v1.30)

    2. In partition 2 right click on MK7.dol and extract it to your desktop

    3. Rename MK7.dol to main.dol

    4. In patition 2 right click on main.dol and replace it with the one from your desktop.

You're done Simply install the modified ISO using your favorite WBFS manager and USB Loader. It might not hurt to append USB after the name in WBFS manager so you know it's the modified ISO.

    Can't Extract

I can't find the mk7.dol anywhere when loading the mk iso in wii scrubber 1.3, I can see Partition 1, but when i try extracting Partition 1 to my desktop, nothing comes up. Am I missing something here?

In the logging area, i read through and somewhere it said that the iso has no main.dol. The MK iso that i downloaded was already scrubbed, could this be why it isn't working?

Well the thing is, when i load the iso, there is no + or - sign next to Partition 2. It's just blank, so i have no idea how to open it and see the mk7.dol. Also on the top right hand corner, where in your picture the iso has 1021 files, mine says 0 and mine also doesn't show the region code. Is this a bad iso perhaps?

Oh and when I open the iso, it doesn't have the name Armageddon on the top either, it's just blank. Maybe I didn't set the wii scrubber up correctly if there was anything i had to do before using it?

You don't actually scrub the ISO - you simply use wiiscrubber to replace main.dol with mk7.dol - do you have a clean copy of the ISO?

No, the one i downloaded was already scrubbed, so I'm guessing thats what the problem is. Alright I'll try downloading a clean one and see if i can get it to work. Thanks for all the help.

    Question

Can anyone tell me how or point me to a link that shows setting up the wii scrubber?

Ive never had to use it per se yet but I would LOVE to have mortal kombat FINALLY working!

Ive searched some and to no avail....and the faq isnt much help either.

Everyones directions say open the iso but I get a error "cant find key.bin" or something to that affect right after launching the app....and the app itself I cant use b/c none of the buttons work (presume the key bin thing)

any help would be terribly appreciated

i don't know if my version was scrubbed, i took the mk7.dol from partition 1 and renamed it, then replaced the main.dol in partition 1 and it worked for me.
