Having problems getting Medal of Honor – Heroes 2 getting to load on newest GX Loader

Okay… I am trying to get MOH – H2 to load on my Wii, & it keeps locking up & crashing. I am wondering what I can do to fix it. I haven’t done the dol method yet, but that is the next step. I downloaded the iso of the game last night with the idea in mind that the disk that I have is bad, & therefore have a bad disk image. But I have a good copy evidently because the iso has the same problem. I thought that could be an issue because I did have a disk that was bad that I had bought along with it. So that isn’t a problem.I have done reading on the site here seeing if I could find the solution before leaving a post. I haven’t been able to find it. Unless I am not setting the configuration correctly, what I have seen posted hasn’t worked. I am running the very newest version of GX Loader, & I would like to know what the heck I am doing wrong. 1 thing that I have noticed is that the settings in the newest version has different options than what people have been posting. With the fact that I really don’t know what I am looking at, that doesn’t help. Could someone help by posting a current configuration so that I have something to compare it to? Thanks guys!

IS this happening with the disk itself? or only when you are USB loading?

Post a syscheck so we can see what your system looks like.

Our comprehensive Ultimate List of Troublesome Games and Their solutions guide suggests --- you guessed it --- the dol method. I don't think the GX loader supports disc, so this should be USB.

I am USB loading Llaffer. The funny thing is the 1st time that I ran the copy… it wasn’t freezing up. I know with some of the troublesome games… or European imports… you have to leave the disk itself in the tray. Which I didn’t do. I took it out. And the 1st time I played the image to make sure that it was a good 1… I wasn’t having any of these freezing issues. It is only doing it when I am playing a level… & not at the menu screens. And it can be at any old place when it decides that it is going to freeze! It’s a pain in the butt! I have read a few threads on here where people were saying that they changed some of the loading configurations, but I guess the layout of an older copy is different than a newer version of USB Loader. So that’s a pain!

The last page of this thread for example talks about that…

It sounds like I am stuck with the dol method… but out of curiosity… is there a way that Ican patch an image so that it sees all the information in the image itself rather than have everything load off the SD card or HDD? I am just asking because I noticed that everything is being loaded onto the SD card, & I would like to have everything on the HDD so that if I want to copy everythingto a different drive (like a upgrade to a bigger 1, or 1 that has an externalpower source), everything is in 1 neat package, & I don’t have everything divided up in 3 different devices. I know that I change the saving settings in the loader, but I was wondering if there was another saving setup that I could use.

I’ve gotten back into it the last few months, but when I was younger… I did a lot of game modding. Being a Star Wars fan, I bought & played with a lot of the PC games. But 1 of the main issues with the early SW PC/Macgames was that you had to make patches for the game so that the machine would see the install. Because usually it was a driver issue. X-Wing & the Mac version of Dark Forces were notorious for that. So other than the dol method, can I directly patch the image so that USB loader sees it? Other than doing a dol copy. This might be an off the wall question… but you never know!

You are barely modded , an old mod at that.
Follow the softmod any wii Guide , and start from Softmods with HOMEBREW CHANNEL installed.
Follow the guide to the end.

This should fix things up for you.

And , No, there is no way to patch the image .(AFAIK)
