    USB Loader GX Problem

Hi folks, looking for a bit of advice here. I soft modded my 4.3E Wii using the excellent guide on this site.

I installed the apps pack (Wiiflow, USB Loader GX and USB CFG) on my SD card. USB CFG works fine but I can't seem to get USB Loader GX working.

When I load it up, it freezes at "Initializing USB Device" and I end up having to power down the Wii.

Any ideas? I'm using an 8GB Maxell thumb drive if that's any help? Worst comes to the worst I'll keep using USB CFG but it would be nice to get it working. Cheers.

Which port is your USB drive plugged into and is your USB Loader GX set to use IOS 249?

Thanks for getting back to me. USB Loader GX is currently set to use IOS 249. I tried both USB ports - if you are looking at the console from the rear, the right hand USB port seems to crash USB Loader GX at "Initializing USB Device", and with the left port it loads up but tells me that a USB device cannot be found. Any ideas?

Post a SysCheck so I can see if your IOS/cIOS setup is good.

SysCheck looks good. Perhaps your HDD is not compatible with USB GX.
