Not sure if right section, but way to rip my own GCN retail discs on PC?

I am using USB loader GX. And would like to backup my own games. My wii drive is old though, and I would prefer not to use that method with USB loader.

Is there a way to rip my own games on the PC, so I can transfer them? thank you.

You need a specific disc drive, most computer disc drives are not capable of read GC or Wii discs but there are some that can.

you can however at best it will take you one hour or longer to backup a 1.30 GB disk, and that's with the fastest drive.

wii disks take four hours or longer.

Take your HDD and games to a friend with a modded Wii. Rip the games from his Wii's drive.

It doesn't depend on a program, but it depends on the drive you use. There are only a few computer drives that can read Wii/GC discs. Search the site and you will get the names of the drives.

    EDIT: Look here.
