Recently formated my hdd to fat32. Now my backed up games only load sometimes, and it's completely random. Someone suggested i update my system. I am not the one who orignally modded my wii, so im not sure where to start on the ''Softmod any wii'' guide. Should i just start from the beginning? I have homebrew installed and USB loader GX. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I agree that USB Loader GX is an awesome loader, but how is FAT32 buggy?Originally Posted by Shano56
I've used both WBFS and FAT32 and I have to say FAT32 is much more convenient as you don't need a program to put games on your USB.
Also, the USB (or HDD, in my case ) can be used for other purposes, such as general storage of other files and videos.
FAT32 all the way, mate!
My drive is fat32 and I have no problems at all. Having said that, I use Configurable USB loader, not GX.
If you want to hold large files on your HDD (or have the ability to), use fat32,
if its just games, wbfs or ntfs
FAT32 only supports files up to 4GB in size. NTFS supports files up to 16 EB (16 × 10246 bytes) and it's a journaling filesystem, which is great because it prevents data loss.
NTFS has a great repair tool(Windows CHKDSK), NTFS is the default filesystem for Windows OS'. 'nuf said.

cIOS: d2x v8 beta (r41), Priiloader: Priiloader v0.7, SDHC: SanDisk Ultra 16GB Class 6,
USB HDD: Seagate Expansion 500GB (ST905004EXA101-RK), Loader: USB Loader GX r1147
I was using WBFS orignally, and then one by one my back up games stopped working, until they all quit working. Someone suggested i switch to FAT32. The first time i did, everything ran smoothly, but then starting it up a second time, i started having problems.
Everyone seems to have different experiences with different formats. Now i feel confused LOL. Maybe ill try NTFS?
Or a different loader? Thanks for the input.
