Updated to 4.3E and don't know what to do

    Hi
I recently bought a Wii and got a guy to mod it for me, i was told that i should not update it and i knew that before he told me. But for some reason i did update it.

How: I wanted to play the game that came with the wii i bought (Wii sport + Resort) and it did not work after i installed it on wiiflow. so i tryed it from the originale dvd nad played it, then came up some update cuestions, and since I'm used to play with ps3 i thought it would be ok since i did not have my wii connected to the internet, I thought that it would just skip the update and play the game. but inside the dvd was a update and i did not get to turn off the wii before it was finished.

So my question simply is: What do i do now?
I see you have a very detailed guide for modding, but sorry to say i did not understand much since i'm completly new to modding a wii.
So if someone just could tell me simply (if possible) what to do, i would be very glad.
I thought i should contact the guy who modded it for me but he wont be back for some days.

What i think he modded with:
    - HBC
    - NeoGamma
    - WiiFlow
And i also found a file named "wad" on the SD

Thanks for any help if given

what state is your wii in? can you get to the homebrew channel?

its in a normal state... just like a new wii and updated. I can get into The HBC, NeoGamma, but when i try WiiFlow it says i have to connect the hard drive i want to use (the one i have installed games on) but it newer goes on after i have plugged it in. i thought that would be because i updated the wii?

Sounds like you need to redo the mod so read the guide until it makes sense and have a go at it, you should be able to start at chapter 2 if you have a backup of your nand if not I would start from the start.

what is the "nand"? i don't know if i have a backup of it =|

If you don't know what it is then it's safe to say you don't have a backup of it so start at the start Chapter 1

Yep, that is exactly what I was going to say!

It may be a good idea to look at this first, just to help you understand everything a little better.

But i did not mod it myself the first time so i don't know if i already have a "nand" or not. and i think the guy said he installed something on the wii, but i'm not sure if that was on the sd or the wii itself. so i guess i'll just start from the start then

A NAND is a copy of your wii. It is a really good idea to have one, you never know if you may need it to recover from something.

When you pay someone to mod your wii all they care about is the money they won't install Priiloader or do a nand backup that takes time. All they want is your money. The guide will make sense when you read it enough times and read the mistakes of other so you won't make the same mistakes.
