    WII64 problems

    Hello, I have successfully soft modded my WII, I got an external hdd nd formated it to fat 32.... I can not get WII 64 to work...I get an error saying: error opening directory "usb:/wii64/roms" I have my ROMS saved in the folder..... well it goes Wii(W: WII64/roms...any ideas or suggestions? my HDD is a 500GB WD Passport essential. My wife only let me do this mod because she wanted to play n64 so I need to fig this out ASAP

    Wii64 requires HBC 1.0.8 and IOS58 be installed. Assuming your HDD is formatted correctly, try booting WiiMC from HBC with the usb hdd plugged in to the inner most usb port. It should work with that usb port.

    wii64 roms must be on an sd card until it is updated.

    what does WiiMC have to do with Wii64?

    For myself, I could not get it to work until I downloaded an "unofficial" build with improved usb support. It may work for you, but of course the unofficial means you're not going to get support from the Wii64 team.

    I used that unofficial build and it works great. The latest version of Wii64 has usb support now, but its kinda glitchy. I think I'm actually going back to the unofficial one.
