playing emulators from External HDD drive

Hello, this is my first post. I just soft modded my WII 4.3u and have played my emulated nes games from the SD card. I just got my 500GB WD Passport in the mail. I have a few questions..... I want to be able to play WII games but I want ALL emulators/games as well. Emulators are most important. How should I partition my HDD? Also I am having a hard time figuring out how to get the Emulators and ROMS on my HDD..... It was easy enough on my SD card but I cant figure it out..... Please point me in the right direction, thanks!
