disc directly to attached hard drive?

Can I take a disc I just bought, put it in my soft modded wii and copy the image, iso, wbfs, (or whatever) directly to the attached hard drive?
I don't think I can copy the image off the game disc to my PC as my pc does not recognize that game as a valid disc.

Maybe I was not clear. I have a soft modded wii with a hard drive attached via usb. I use configerable usb loader to lod the hard drive. I bought a new game and would like to put the image on the hard drive so the kids do not touch the disc. I cannot pull the image off the disc on the pc as the dvd drive does not recognize the game disc. I have tried searching the forum to see find how to dump the game image from the drive on the wii to the attached hard drive. I was not able to find the right thread. if you know it or can direct me to the correct thread, I would appreciate it.

If your wii is connected to the internet then you can "use a loader" To download missing covers.. I suspect you are talking about missing covers right???

Hey, I assume you have the correct modded IOS to be running Wii games. I recommend getting USB Loader GX. Load it up and at the bottom left corner there is a plus (+). Click the plus and it should rip your disc. After this it should be in your WBFS Manager.
