    ModMii or Softmod Any Wii?

I am total wii newbie, and I just bought a wii for my daughter.

I basically want to be able to put games on USB disk and play them from there.

I think I have read all the meta guides and all the guides and all the relevant stickies. I have also searched the forum for answers, but I still have unanswered questions.

First of all, there seem to be a lot of competing ways to mod a wii. I was planning to try the Softmod Any Wii guide first. But then I saw on the front page of that ModMii v5.0 was just released. If I understand correctly, it is an easy way to automate (som of) the modding process.

So should I use ModMii or just follow the Softmod Any Wii guide? What are the differences between them? Purpose, pros, cons etc.

    Thanks in advance

Mauis guide installs a patched system menu to protect your Wii. There are many similarities to the final product of each process but mauis guide was written and made with user protection in mind along with compatibility.. I suggest using mauis guide.

Did I come off like a jerk?? Read more here
