-I have a japanese wii, but I live in a country where only US(NTSC) games are sold. I will buy a US version of okami next week, and try playing it on my japanese wii. IF it doesn't work, then softmodding it is my other option.
I have read some thread though, from another forum, that most NTSC games work on a japanese wii, and only new NTSC wii games dont.
1. If my wii is from japan, is it PAL or NTSC?
2. Will the US game work on my japanese wii? should I buy one?
3. If the game won't work, Is softmodding the answer?
THANK YOU in advance.
Regards, newbie wii owner.

A simple solution would be to region change your wii, which can be found in the softmod any wii guide. Here's the name of the header for you to specifically look at, Part 2- Optional Region Change
