    WBFS 2TB would it work?

I know I read stuff on this in the past but can't seem to find anything now on it. Maybe its not an issue anymore but I was just wondering can I format my 2TB Hard drive to WBFS and put my backups on there and use with USB loader GX.. I thought in the past it can only be a 1 TB hard drive max but is has that changed and I can I use my two TB Hard drive.

    Thanks

I too have a 2TB drive and to be honest I was told that it is better to partition the drive! the largest (MAX) being 999Gb (WBFS) then do what you want with the rest its upto you!! I did as I was informed and had no issues but it was something to do with going over 1TB that causes problems?? Nothing stopping you having 2 partitions of 999Gb max!!

WBFS is outdated. Good in it's time, but it's not needed anymore. Your best bet is to use FAT32 (or NTFS). Click on the link in my sig, it includes partitioning instructions as well as size limits.

999GiB max doesn't make any sense. They probably meant 1GiB less then 1TB, which would be 1023GiB.

My hard drive is actually 3TB but even after partitioning it to under 1 TB WBFS for just the games WBFS manager won't format it no matter what I try... it lets it format to NTFS no problem but if I try formatting it to any thing like Fat32 or WBFS even partitioned it will not let me do it.

Has to be the Drive it is brand new and a HP

    Thanks
