Multi Mod Manager (MMM) [Guide]

[MMM] Multi-Mod-Manager is a multi-purpose all-in-one tool for the Wii. Many useful functions are neatly integrated into a easy-to-use menu to enable and better support homebrew. Like a handy 'Swiss knife', it saves users from the hassle of dealing with separate different tools. And it does it without sacrificing any features or functionality.

For those who's Wii remotes disconnect, you will have to use Wiimod 3.2
It's nearly identical to MMM, so this guide is still worth the read!
In this Multi Mod Manager (MMM) guide, I'm going to lay out all the features of this great little App.

Now go here-->MMM 13.4 rar. Download and unzip, then copy MMM to the "Apps" folder on your SD card.

Main Features:
* APP Manager to easily launch homebrew from SD card
* WAD Manager with faster batch operations and safety measures
* IOS Manager to check/install/delete/patch/dop IOS or custom IOS
* Manage Priiloader Hacks and switch to it or Wii System Menu
* Install Wii System Menu v4.x from Nintendo servers
* Install Wii Channels from Nintendo servers
* Install & Patch IOS36 to enable homebrew (express 1-click TBR)
* Remove stub IOS or unused Korean IOS
* Display boot2 version and information
* Display Wii system settings and more...
* Reload to any IOS via a easy-to-use selection menu
* Configurable by editing "sd:/mmmconfig.txt" file
* Real-time on-screen status and detail reports on all operations
* Clear and easy-to-understand user interface to a powerful too
l* Stable, compact and loadable from HBC, bannerbomb or as a channel

How to Load another IOS.

Here you can choose which IOS you want MMM to load from, and use to install/uninstall things.
The best IOS to choose are IOS36, IOS236, IOS249 or IOS250.

If you are a visual learner, watch the Vid.....

With "App Manager", you can load any App that is on your SD card. (The Apps in the Apps folder on your SD card)
You can also load your chosen App with a certain IOS. To do this, see the "Load another IOS" spoiler above.

If you are a visual learner, then watch the Vid..

The main purpose of IOS manager is to allow you to Load/Install/Delete any IOS you want.

You will see when you load IOS manager, that all the installed IOS are in yellow, and all the IOS that are NOT installed are in white.

WARNING: NEVER UNINSTALL/DELETE AN IOS BELOW 200!!!!!!!!!

Installing an IOS.

1. Select/highlight the IOS using the D-Pad - Press A
2. It will ask you to apply patches - Say NO to all patches. But if you are installing IOS36, say yes to all patches.
3. Load IOS.wad from : Choose one of the following options: SD card/USB Storage/SMB/Ninty servers - Press A

Deleting an IOS.

I wouldn't recommend this, unless you have accidently updated from Nintendo, and have stubbed your cIOS.
IOS 222,223,224,249,250, will be your cIOS. And later in the guide I show you the "Remove Stubbed IOS" Feature.
But just so you know how to do it..

1. Select/highlight the IOS using the D-Pad - Press " - " (Minus) to uninstall.
2. Press A to uninstall or B to cancel.

If you're a visual learner, watch the Vid..

Some of you may have had some experience with Wad manager already as a stand alone App.
And it's not much different in MMM, aside from the batch install feature.

From Wad Manager you can install and uninstall wad files.

Select the wad you want to install, and press A - Press A again to confirm.

A neat feature of Wad Manager in MMM, is the ability to install multiple WAD files all at once. To do this,
Select the wad with the D-pad, Press " + " to mark for batch install. Do the same for each Wad file you want to install,
and again Press A to Install - Press A again to confirm.
And then Wad Manager will go through all the Wad files you've chosen, and install them.

If you're a visual learner, watch the Vid..

In manage priiloader, there are 3 options.

1. Edit priiloader hacks. (This means that you can Enable/Disable any of the hacks you like.)
2. Is not very useful, so I won't explain it here!
3. Same as option 2.

If you are a visual learner, watch the Vid..

This feature, allows you to install System Menu's 4.1, 4.2, 4.3.

It is not recommended you do this unless you're following a guide that specifically tells you to do so!

You have been warned!

No Vid required..

Another great feature of MMM is "Manage Wii Channels".
From here you can install Wii Channels, but an "internet connection is required".

Available channels:
• Shop Channel
• Internet Channel
• Photo Channel
• Mii Channel
• News Channel
• Weather Channel

Scroll through the channels to find the one you want to install and the region, press A to install.

If you're a visual learner, watch the Vid..

Another great feature of MMM here. Installing and patching IOS36 is essential,
in that once installed and patched, you can then install all other WAD file's with
IOS36. Now download this-->IOS36 Patch MMM. Unzip/Extract, and copy the WAD file's to the ROOT of your SD card.

Option 1

1. Load HBC - Select Launch MMM - Press Load - MMM Loads
2. Select "Install & Patch IOS36"
- Choose "Express Mode" - Wait
3. Verify a successful Install - Press any key to Continue - Done

Option 2

1.
Load HBC - Select Launch MMM - Press Load - MMM Loads
2. Select "Install & Patch IOS36" - Choose "Normal Mode"
3. Load IOS15-64-v1032.wad from : < SD Card > - Press A
4. Load IOS15-64-v257.wad from : < SD Card > - Press A
5. Load IOS36-64-v3608.wad from : < SD Card > - Press A - Installing, wait.
6. Load IOS36-64-v3608.wad from : < SD Card > - Press A - Installing, wait.
7. Installation Complete - Press any key to Continue - Done

If you're a visual learner, watch the Vid..

I touched on this earlier in the guide, but, Here you can choose from 3 Options to remove Stubs and Unused IOS. The first option is the most useful as it removes the useless stubs in the 222, 223, 249, 250, 254 slots that prevent cIOS installation.

Option 1:
Remove Stub IOS 222, 223, 249, 250, 254. Allows fresh cIOS to be installed.

Option 2:
Remove Stub IOS 4, 10, 11, 16, 20, 30, 50, 51, 60.
NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!

Option 3:
Only for korean Wii's that have been converted to another region. Won't be explained here!

If you're a visual learner, watch the Vid..

Displays your Wii's boot2 version, and other information.
No Vid required.

Here you will see all your Wii console's details in a list.
Details include:

This Channel uses IOS249 to boot. You can change the IOS it uses with CustomizeMii if needed.
Unzip/extract & Install with MMM/Wad Manager.

MMM will load the IOS specific to the "mmmconfig.txt", instead of the default IOS58.

Multi-Mod Manager Config Files - Auto Load IOS36 - Auto Load IOS236 - Auto Load IOS249 - Auto Load IOS250

How to use : Download & Unzip/Extract the RAR file, copy the "mmmconfig.txt" to the SD Card root.

I just want to acknowledge and thank "Krank" for writing the original MMM guide.
As Krank is no longer active, and no longer supports this guide, a re-write, and update was needed.
Thanks Krank for your hard work.
Quick question. MMM loads to IOS36 by default which I think is supposed to be OK for installing WADs. However, I always get error -2011. I can easily change what IOS it loads, but is there a way to make that change permanent or make it so that I can install WADs with IOS36?

The IOS36 line from my sysCheck:
IOS36 (rev 54321): Trucha Bug, ES Identify, NAND Access

Not a huge problem, but annoying enough to want to fix it.
SM 4.1 (v499) - BootMii/IOS v1.5 - HBC 1.1.2 - Priiloader 0.8b6 - d2x v9(r49) - WiiFlow 4.1.1

Whenever I load MMM it loads IOS58 by default. Makes me think you're using the Cboot2 MMM
that's in the softmod any wii guide. Try the regular version of MMM and see if that works.

Strange that your IOS36 doesn't work, seeing as it's fakesigned. You could always use this guide
to restore the trucha bug. But I don't know if it'll work given the maxed out rev number of your IOS36.

I downloaded it from the MMM site. Anyway, it appears to be working now. Even with WADs that were giving me errors before. I don't know what the problem was.

MMM wont unstub or patch 36

Ok, I have 4.3u, and followed this guide to the letter (I think). MMM gives me errors when I try to remove stubs, patch 36, or even install wads. Does this not work on some Wiis? Any advice would be appreciated as I have several programs demanding 222 and 249, but I have no way to install them. Thanks.

Sounds like you haven't completed your softmod.
Post a syscheck. Use version 2.0.1 beta14.
