Harddrive wont format as WBFS
So I recently bought a iomega 500gb prestige harddrive and tried to get it as a WBFS format. I have tried the guide and everything I can think of to resolve the issue, but I cannot seem to fix it.
No matter what I do I get an error while attempting to format the drive in WBFS manage, I have tried leaving the drive as raw, as NTSF format and nothing I do seems to work.
I'm not sure if it's an issue with my hard drive because it seems to lock whenever I try formatting it in NTSF. When I try to access the drive afterwards I get a "The parameter is incorrect" error and need to reconnect the hard drive to access it again.
Any help would be appreciated, ty.

Thank you so much, fat32 seems to work. =D
edit: scratch that, I can't seem to get it to work.
Is there any obvious error that is preventing me from formatting it as a NTSF format?

I've only had a few months softmodding experience so I'm no expert on the subject.
I haved used FAT32 & WBFS formats with my wii. I could access a FAT32 formatted drive using a windows pc but with wbfs I got the "The parameter is incorrect" error you mentioned above. I have read that this is because windows doesn't recognise the wbfs format. However both can be viewed using the wii backup manager. Which is also what I used to format my drive from FAT32 to WBFS. I noticed the same files take less space on a WBFS formatted drive. In windows my drive shows as RAW and I'm guessing it's because windows doesn't recognise WBFS. Either way it works.
If you have your drive saying it's in the RAW format or FAT32 then that's fine. What doesn't work exactly? What software are you using to test? I'd say that's more likely to be the issue unless I've misunderstood your question.
