USB Loader GX won't Autoboot after update...
Hey everydone... Running a 4.2U and am having an issue with autobooting my USB Loader GX after following Maui's guide and updating to GX version 2.3. The channel / Forwarder work fine and I can play games fine... Just the problem with Autobooting. Have priiloader ver 6 running. I have copied the boot.dol file form the sd\apps\usbloader_gx folder into the root (sd:\). I 'load' the boot.dol file in priiloader and if I attempt to press 1 (run the installed file) it says "loading binary" and just hangs, requiring a hard-reset. What's also weird is that I can load the "USB LoaderCFG" dol file and run it and cfg fires right up. My kids and wife are fans of the GX and are also even more clueless than I am.. which is why I really want to keep them out of the SM and channels, etc... Easier to have them use the autoboot to GX... Not sure wtf is goin on... I've formatted the SD, delted the channel / forwarder and re-installed, with NO difference or change. Any ideas on what's goin on or how to proceed from here? I see a lot of people have had problems with updates, etc... but of all of the USB Loader GX threads I got search results / hits on, not one seems to address this particular problem.
Thanks again for the help...

You need to use the forwarder.dol, not the boot.dol. Go to THIS page and download the all in one package for the cIOS you primarily use. In the wad folder you will see a ForwarderDOL folder. Inside that is the file you need to use in priiloader.

Thanks for the fast reply... AGAIN... Sorry to be THAT guy... Was actually feeling a little proud as I re-read the previous GX search hits and found someone who had the Forwarder DOL linked... Gave it a shot, and had it working just before I got online to retract / edit my post.. Again, THANK YOU for the info. Can't say enough great things about the members and advice... AWESOME!!!

No need to be sorry. Glad you figured it out! Posts like that (and I think I speak for a lot of folks here) are exactly what make all the time and effort worth it!
