Thread: making iso images from original wii dvds, possible? osx 10.6

    making iso images from original wii dvds, possible? osx 10.6

    So i looked and looked and still have not found any solution on how to create ISO images on a mac, the macs spit out the wii dvds, no software i know of mounts or recognizes them, does anyone know anything that does so i can back up the dvds to ISO and load them on my wii later?

    I am using a imac 27"i7 12GB ram, 10.6.4
    already have a wii with iso images on a usb HD working, i just want to create iso images of new dvds i just got using the mac

    Its not possible using the mac. How ever you can use the wii to rip them to the external hdd....

    The easiest way to rip Wii games is using a Wii.

    Darn, my wii won't read discs anymore....Well then I give up on this whole process...time to go buy a new wii already.

    There are a couple of drives that you can get for a PC that will read discs, but you'd likely do better to get a replacement Wii drive from ebay.

    Yeah I was trying to go around it being broken by putting it on a usb. But the whole process is so confusing and I am using a mac, which makes this even tougher. Oh well.
