Rock Band 1 Drums aren't synching to my Wii.

My problem is as follows:I just bought some Rock Band Drums, and they have been previously used, but there's not a scratch on them, like they were brand new. All of the wiring inside them is properly done. Thing is, I can't use them to play any Rock Band game. The little drum led is lit, but none of the four blue squares is lit. I made sure I inserted them correctly in the USB, but I just can't make them work. I've even installed cIOS rev21 with base 56(IOS56-64-v5661), but they're still not synched. My Wii is PAL region, and so are the Rock Band games I'm trying to play on it. I use disc loading, by the way, and I've so far tried Rock Band 3 and Rock Band Green Day, and the drums aren't working with any of them.

Well, how am I supposed to do that? I just said they were ROCK BAND 1 drums, which means they're not wireless. Is there a sync button that I don't know about on these drums?

Ummm... no... I don't have a wi-fi adapter. Are you saying I can't just plug the drums straight into the console?

I finally got them working! At first, I plugged them in the second USB slot, but to no avail... or so I thought. About 25 minutes later, I tried them again, and BAM! They worked. This happened a lot earlier than the time I'm writing this post, because I was too busy rocking out!... sort of. I kinda suck right now, but, hey, that's what it means to be a begginer, right? For what it's worth, thank you for your help. Although I doubt that my neighbours will be very happy that I got my drums working, he he.
