Apple Inc. said the company's co-founder Steve Jobs died Wednesday. He was 56. "We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today," the company said in a brief statement.
"Steve's brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve."

I think the strangest part, for me.
I had been wanting an apad for a long time now, and kept putting it off. Today was the day I finally decided to spend the money and purchase one for my son's birthday this friday.
I know it is gonna blow his little kid mind, and I love being able to do that for my kids. This would not be possible if not for this man. Now everything that comes along will either be mediocre, or just an advancement of something he thought of.
This might be the last year I can blow my kid's mind with a cool thing, since he has gone.
