    Watching movies on a USB through the USB port of the Wii.

    hi, is there a way we can watch movies through a USB from a Wii?

    yes thats correct, i also have homebrew channel and heard that there are homebrew apps that allows me to watch movies from a Usb device.

    I use WiiMC. Works great. I have it set up to stream movies from my computer. It's pretty sick.

    Yeah, i found WiiMC the best. I've actually tested out wiiplayer CE too, but found out that Wiiplayer CE doesn't play that much video file formats so i stuck with WiiMC and it pretty much plays everything fine Good quality too even though the resolution of the video is around 600 x 200. I'm happy.

    I forgot about WiiMC. That was very useful to me back in '08. I don't really have need of it anymore as my TV is connected to my PC, but then again, I am thinking about putting my Wii into my step brothers room. He might be interested in the Wii as a PC substitute as I used to use it as.
