    Change ip address

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but how do I change my ip address on my wii to trick it into giving me a american ip address so I can use the USA version of Netflix? I figured out how to do it on my pc with a program called proxpn. Any help would be great, I live in Canada

Not really understanding how you have a Canadian IP address if you are in the states. Maybe this is something to discuss with your internet service provider.
Also we don't really do anything in the way of hacking IP addresses, just the operating system of the wii console.

I normally have a Canadian ip address, but I use a program called proxpn to give my pc a American ip address so I get get the USA Netflix. It's really quit simple. I live in Calgary and this program tricks my pc into believing I'm in Miami. It's a great program. Netflix in Canada does not offer as much as the USA version, so I use this program to get the USA version way more movies and shows.

Not really aware of any programs that run on the wii console to change it's IP address. It does a little more than the norm when hacked, but it is still designed to just be a gaming console. The Pc is capable of so much more. Perhaps you can run a video cable to the television from the pc, I do that sort of thing just for the fun of it.

Same here One of my pc's connects to my tv via HDMI, the other through a 25ft vga/audio combo cord I found online for $9.

No kidding! Even though I have Netflix on the Wii and use it frequently, the computer can stream High Def stuff that isn't available on the Wii version. Mainly just documentaries and such, but hey, I'm a geek lol
