Odd disc drive problem after wiikey2 installation

morning all and happy new year

had my wii fitted with a wiikey2 yesterday and 3 time now since returning home my disc drive wont accept the disc im trying to put in it...it only ever happens when the machine has been unplugged and now played with for a while, like an hour

i power up, try to insert a disc and it ignores me

so i turn it off then on again and all is ok

is this common or odd...i emailed the people that modded it but they're not getting back to me of course!

    wait, what lid?

The system is held together with 10+ micro screws. The DVD-Rom is strapped down by 4 phillips heads.

It's not even close man. This thing has screws holding down the case on 3 sides.

Please, for future reference, do not reply to threads unless you're somewhat sure of the answer. If this were a software thread, you could really do some damage to a person's machine with misdirection.

Also, there's a disassembly guide in my signature. You do need the triwing, as you noticed.
