    dsi power socket replacement

recently, a DSi of a friends power socket had a small piece come out of the center. he found a replacement part on amazon for 2$ and ordered it.

it seems like its simple to put in, but i cannot get the faulty one off the motherboard.

little help? youtube and google dont yield much besides how to take it apart (but neglect to show power socket removal).

    is it soldered on?
