Red face Newbie's Hello with a Question.

Hello everyone, I look forward to being part of this great community!

I have been poking around this site for the last week and finally decided to join after seeing the potential for a wealth of information. I just purchased an old virgin wii from a friend and before I found, I used a youtube guide by hacking mod nerd, for 4.3u using smash stack. Hoping to hear what damage this guide has done to me.

Here is the sysCheck of my Wii after following the guide entirely, I downgraded from 4.3u to 4.1u and also installed DarkCorp.

Anyways I look forward to learning as much as I can to achieve the max potential with my wii, and in the future being able to help others with questions.

    Hello EpLawls,

I am Bliepo and I am here to welcome you to WiiHacks! It is always nice to see a new member such as yourself. It is hard to give a precise estimate on how much 'damage' the youtube guide has done to your wii. It would probably be best to remove DarkCorp (there should be a guide for it) and once you have done that, follow the softmod any wii guide here on wiihacks.

First of all, please read the Forum Rules and Brick Prevention- Things you should never do. Please do your best to follow them, or you might be corrupted by the dark side

To help new members find their way, we have a very nice index, the Ultimate Wiihacks Index. You can also take a look at our Hot Topics !!!! forum, which has links to the latest top guides on the forum! If you still can't find what you are looking for, you can always use the search function. Or try using Google. Just add "site:" to the end, and Google will help you find it on wiihacks.

If you want to start softmodding your wii, I recommend Guide: Softmod ANY wii. After that, you can use USB HDD back-up loading. We have a FAT 32 guide, a NTFS guide and a WBFS guide. If you need a guide on a WBFS manager, please read the [Guide]Wii Game Manager. If you are using linux, please take a look at the Wiihacks Linux Guide - softmodding using Linux and ext2/ext3/ext4 USB loading.

We also have some very cool things here, like Peire's GFX Shop and the Free Signature Give away.

You can also join IRC and chat live with members and staff (IRC Welcome & Rules).

If you like wiihacks, it would be very nice if you made a donation.
