Unhappy System files are corrupted- PLEASE HELP

Hi, I've a soft-modded wii for a while now, a friend had it done for me, but now its started saying system files corrupted.
I've read on the forums to update the soft mod, so I followed the advice here

    http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html

But I put the SD Card back into my Wii and it still says the same message.
Could someone tell me where I might be going wrong
    Thank you in advance......

Do you have Netflix? Post a system check if you can.

Sent from my HTC Desire Android using WiiHacks

How do you do/find a system check? If I have to turn the Wii on, there's no chance!!! It goes onto Screen saying Press A, Etc, then it'll say system files corrupted, check user manual.....

It sounds like you are going to have to reinstall your system menu. You should be able to get to HBC to run syscheck by going through priiloader. Hold the reset button in while powering on the wii, it will take you to priiloader (if you have it). http://www.wiihacks.com/other-faq-gu...tem-check.html
Do the syscheck before messing with anything else, brick are NOT my specialty.

It's good to know you have priiloader and access to HBC! I think you will need to reinstall your system menu with Dop Mii. I am going to move this to the bricked section so you can get input from the brick experts before you proceed.

Thank you Skellinator, for all your help.

If there is anybody who can point me in the right direction to sort this out, I will gladly try........

Turn the wii on, when it says press A at the health screen, hold + - and then press A while holding + -. If the system menu loads you have a corrupted message board or other issue that can be fixed.

    You have two options.
1- go to the wii settings and format the wii. You will lose all savegames, HBC, other channels and they will need to be reinstalled.

2- You can try to fix the message board with this method. You won't lose any saves or channels, but all your messages and friends I believe. Download mailbox_brick_fix-det1re.zip and follow the directions in the zip.
