Problems following the thread: New 3.1-4.1 Softmod for ANY Wii

    Hello all,

I have been using the tutorial from the thread: New 3.1-4.1 Softmod for ANY Wii located at:

    http://www.wiihacks.com/tutorial-arc...d-any-wii.html

I have followed it to the letter, installed Bootmii at boot2 and currently have the version 3.2 PAL.

My Homebrew Channel flipped after installing the cIOS, which I understand is normal.

All went smoothly until I reached part 4: Updating Sys Menu to 4.1

I did part a) and part b) successfully, installed IOS60Patched.wad without errors.

However, when I tried to re-run the WAD Manager to install the System Menu 4.1, the Wad Manager goes into a black screen (i.e. after I open Homebrew Channel and click on the WAD Manager, all I get is a black screen).

How do I best continue from here?

Thanks for taking your time reading and for all your help!

I would have posted on the thread itself but the thread was closed =(

    Hi,

Thanks for reply. Since I have the Homebrew Channel and the cIOS and have installed install IOS60Patched.wad, where do I continue on the new guide?

Do I have to remove everything and restart? If I do have to remove, how do I remove?

    Thanks for your time.
