Thread: StartPatch uninstall

    StartPatch uninstall

    Calling all Wiihacks GURU's .

I have a Wii softmod on 4.2U. Back when I originally (several years ago) did the softmod I was 'scared' of priloader and instead opted for StartPatch 4.2.6U as my Update blocker etc. Well, subsequently Priloader has become the standard and I want to move to it.

My question is, how the heck do I remove StartPatch? I do have the original WAD's, but I don't see uninstall options, heck I don't even remember which Cios it was attached to.

    Any help would be awesome!

What about all of the existing mod's the program has made? Example, StartPatch automatically presses 'A' when turning on machine. If I use Any Title Deleter, will it undo the hacks?

Dont quote me on this but i think you can uninstall the patches with the installer itself

First remove any previous StartPatch hacks then just run the app through the Homebrew Channel, and select which hacks you would like to apply by pressing "A". You can uninstall the hacks by pressing "B". After you select the ones that you like, select the "Save" option at the bottom of the screen.
That is from the wiibrew page
I had to look it up too, havent used startpatch in a while.
