    LU6 Serial Number

I have a new Wii with an LU6 serial - I can't find any information as to which mod chip is compatible with this serial number. Are there any available at this time? Thank you.

type out the full thing, in the drive search and post it

    odds are though
    wiikey 2
    wasabi
    or d2pro will be best
unless its one of those uber new no drive chip drives, then you got to replace it or soft mod

I'm new to the Wii and I am not sure what you mean by drive search - but the full serial number is LU61833268 and then it has a 5 with a box around it.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

    * There is a 50% chance the chipset is GC2-D2E.
    * And there is also a 25% chance the chipset is GC2-D2B with cut pins.
    * Lastly, a 25% chance the chipset is GC2-D2E and covered in black glue.
any of those chips will work, but with the epoxy *black glue* you got to remove it, or send it in, or replace the drive, and if u use a wiiclip and the glue is there, then you got to get it off almost 100%

My serial is also of teh LU6 type, similiar to the OP. I know when I hooked it up, i didn't know about homebrew and i did the update like a dummy. Anyways, is it safe to say i have v 3.4 as the website cannot recognize the serial # that I have? I'd like to get down to v3.2 and install some HB.
